Biography
Roberta Esposito is a molecular biologist and senior scientist at the Department for Biomedical Research, University of Bern, where she leads a cancer genomics research program focused on long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs). Her work integrates CRISPR-based functional screens, transcriptomic analyses, and patient-derived organoid models to identify non-coding RNA–driven vulnerabilities in solid tumors. A central aim of her research is to translate these discoveries into RNA-based therapeutic strategies, including antisense oligonucleotide approaches for treatment-resistant cancers.
